Anaglyphs are created by a combination of two perspectives, one from the left eye, and the other from the right eye. When viewed with red and blue glasses, the image appears as 3D.
In a similar way, animated GIFs can I also be taken from the left and right eye perspectives to create a 3D effect when the images are combined and animated in Photoshop.
Video clips can also be made into layers. Vertical stripes can be added to the images and manipulated, resulting in an optical illusion. See the Video Stripe 3D illusion below.
Using still shots, an illusion of depth and movement can be given to Photoshop images using a video editing software, like Adobe Premiere. See the Parallax technique below.
