"Where Our Secrets Hide" is an exploration of information design and content collection. Students across Appalachian State University anonymously submitted secrets to be incorporated into this publication in a visually stimulating and intruiging way.
Sharing time with the content made me realize that people's emotions can be transferred energetically through their writing. I categorized the data into the seven chakras of the body in order to comprehend how each painful submission made me feel inside. This concept allowed me to make an educational piece that offers help not only to the contributors, but particularly to anyone who may relate to the personal stories within the pages. Identifying where trauma is stored the body is the first step towards change.
