App State folk: here is a link to a blurb on the "Archive of Unnamed Women" project: https://digital-frontiers.org/past-events/df2018/df18schedule/an-archive-of-unnamed-women/ My thought was: might we engage in a similar project--through the Center, the Digital Humanities group, and/or an academic department--which would draw from our library's Appalachian collection (such as: https://omeka.library.appstate.edu/files/original/6608dfe0d5a089fe6b938b4f3e8f4abd.jpg) and pair those images with texts by regional women authors? If you are interested in or intrigued by this idea, or have another idea of how we might follow on this project with our own collections, let me know; I would be happy to arrange a meeting to discuss these possibilities in greater detail. Also: if you can think of someone else on campus who might like to get involved, please feel free to pass along this information.
