Over the course of the last 8 years, the Elementary Science Education group has collaborated in various configurations to secure funding for innovative projects related to science education. As you see throughout this portfolio, these efforts show not only our collaborative spirit but also a great deal of overlap between our service, teaching and scholarship. Additionally, the theme of curricular integration -- especially the relationship between science and technology, science and literacy, and science and social studies -- is evident in the projects for which we sought funding.
